Ironwood provides each system with an open design and fully documented spread sheets of the database schema.  Since FIXPro is written in an SQL and fully relational database, all ODBC tools are supported for end user ad hoc queries and development links to other systems.

FIXPro is support on a Windows NT Platform and uses standard file systems for authentication.  In addition to the usual security features, FIXPro is certified by the highest military authorities in both the US and Canada for encryption (optionally available upon request).  Option security available also restricts users to database entities, record changing and actual field level changes.  Standard, included security within FIXPro supports restriction by user level, and selection.

In addition to standard FIXPro, reporting can be customized by Ironwood or the end users.
