Inventory Module
1.
FIXPro has a multi tiered
inventory control database. Each
item’s quantity is tracked at the: Item Level, Warehouse Level, Bin Level. For each item the user may report,
inquire etc. Many companies believe
they have only one warehouse. In reality, multiple warehouses and
tracking the finished goods already manufactured but not taken delivery of,
provides vital information on the entire supply chain. By setting up off site warehouses, for
such items as envelopes, FIXPro users are able to track transfers, and re order
processing with lead times and full control.
2.
FIXPro software selections
support adding, deleting, changing of item codes for live items and combination
of items that have usage history but have been setup for deletion. By providing this functionality, the
FIXPro user can control multiple versions of the same item, how many are there,
used, destroyed etc.
3.
FIXPro provides the ability
for end users to update charge back information with transactions and will not
allow users to simply plug inventory numbers.
All changes to charge back pricing, quantity on hand, used, counted,
returned, destroyed etc are all audited showing who, how and when each change
was made.
4.
FIXPro has inventory control
functions to track on hand, quantity committed and then finally quantity shipped
at all levels. Any warehouse counts
are done real time and allow the end user to view the immediate effects prior to
posting. Once updated, full audit
controls are in place to ensure numerical accuracy. FIXPro is a fully balanced system.
5.
FIXPro item master has
fields/drop down table entries to control the status of an item. If an item has been created in the design stage (and even
perhaps printed and received), and has yet to be approved, then these status
codes and respective release dates control the release of the inventory and
reporting. Some items that are
state legislated follow strict processing under control of these status codes. Such controls along with revision
tracking of items ‘replacing’ and ‘replaced by’ provide users with the ability
to view inventory that is available to end users for shipping, and items that
track the design, production, usage, history and obsolescing of an item in one
central database. In addition to
inventory control, the FIXPro database also contains fields for the recording of
an items specifications (for printed items), electronic image filename pointers,
flags to indicate if the items are electronic for form fill or print on demand,
marketing keywords for searching, owner contact names and location for reprint
approval processing.
