STR7881 - Spread Sheet Interface Patch and Multi-Company prompt for re-balancing items and warehouse bin records.When using DDE and Excel, the import and export was slower than required due to messages being delivered to the screen while the process was continuing. Although this allows the user to 'Cancel' the operation anytime, the import/export was extremely slow. This operation has been updated to perform many times faster. Depending upon the columns and rows involved in the spread sheet, this may improve performance as much as 100%! When multiple customers are loaded into FIX, repairing an out of balance condition across many of those companies resulted in repeatedly reselecting this process from the menu for each customer. These out of balance conditions may have occured during an import of items and/or usage history. This updated version prompts for 'all customers' or also allows for the simple one customer selection. |
