STR7890 - Multi-Company prompt for purging history records and FIX.INI Setting support for HistoryYears.When using automatic purge processing, FIX now with this update looks to the FIX.INI file for the setting 'HistoryYears'. When this setting is a positive number, FIX uses this to override the default two years of history records to keep on the database. An example would be to keep five years on history. To do this use any text editor to modify file FIX.INI. Then add a line with
HistoryYears=5
When multiple customers are loaded into FIX, purging and rolling over each customer may be time consuming. This updated version prompts for 'all customers' or also allows for the simple one customer selection. |
