This download will patch a 32bit revision to use the server to import requisitions from a 'scanned' directory. To install download this software and execute the str7849.exe file into the database directory with the following command line....
str7849 -o -d or using winzip, and extract using the folder options. Once installed, the transaction server software FX030srv.exe is installed as a NT service. This service performs exactly like the Transaction Server available within the FIXProII and FIXProIII product. In fact it is exactly the same FIX code. Once installed, the service parameters may be adjusted using the NT Control Panel - Services selection. There are a few very important settings that may be changed using this selection, and initially set during installation, please ensure you have read 'Installation' below before attempting to start this service. These settings may also be setup by a command line argument to install and uninstall this service. Please note that this software will not work for the 16bit version of FIX products, the 32bit version must be the currently installed version. To validate which version is installed, use the FIX Help menu and select 'About ZIM'. If the Zim version is 5.5 or lower, then the version installed is 16bit. The version must read Zim Version 6.0 or above. |
