When the multi user or single user ZIM engine fails to start or perform as expected, this sometimes occurs because the Windows Registry does not have the correct entries. By using program Zsetvars.exe located in the database directory, you may access the Windows Registry entries for the current user's windows' session. Using explorer or the command line prompt execute this program. By using the tabs on the screen, ensure that all entries are pointing to the FIX database directory. For advanced users this program also accepts a command line argument to run this utility in silent mode.
