Prerequisite: To download and use the Sample Catalog in Word, you must have a DSN (Data Source Name) in ODBC ( see control panel's ODBC administrator icon) for FIX.  This FIX DSN must also point to the evaluation database.

If you don't have such a DSN setup, then use the ODBC driver installation from your C:\FIX\ODBCDRV\SETUP32 directory and create on with the ZTI driver called 'FIX'.

Note: For production systems you may download and then modify the file 'item_catalog.dqy' with a text editor.  Change the folder where it's "C:\program files\fixeval" to your production database directory like "F:\FIXLive\FIX".
