FIX has many standard reports built into the product. The purpose of many of these month end reports is to provide full audit control over the quantity and value of the inventory. No activity to change the quantity or value of the inventory can occur without a transaction. These reports provide a view to these transactions and the items themselves to ensure the system, software and people are processing error free.
Many customers have asked for more reports in the evolution of FIX. With the customer's experience and need as the primary concern, reports have been developed to support many workflow and exceptions found in the warehouse, forms department and supply chain.
